Spray your water-based or alcohol-based perfume directly into the water chamber — 3–5 pumps is a good starting point. The scent mixes with the water and diffuses through bubbles. The water chamber is made of PC (polycarbonate), resistant to alcohol-based liquids. Only water/alcohol-based perfumes go in the water — for oil-based, use the carrier pad system.
In our testing, a noticeable scent typically lasts about one week after adding perfume to the water, depending on concentration and space. You can reapply as needed. The carrier pad mode tends to last longer, as the natural wood slowly releases the scent.
The UV-C light is fully enclosed inside the device. It uses UV-C light technology as part of the air care system. There is no direct UV exposure to users. We describe it as "UV-C light technology" — a component of our air care system.
The piezoelectric pump operates below 25dB — quieter than a whisper. The bubble sound is approximately 30dB, similar to a quiet library. For comparison, most air purifiers with fans run at 40–55dB.
We recommend changing the water every 1–2 weeks, depending on usage. When the water looks cloudy, it's time to change it — that means it's been working hard to clean your air.
